Decay
Decay explores the slow collapse of the things we believe will last: the body, memory, power, relationships and time itself. Through installations and sculptural works including The Turnover Effect, Finale and Thorns of Time, Anna Rex-Brandenburg examines deterioration not only as destruction, but as transformation. Objects appear worn, restrained, fractured or suspended between what they once were and what they are becoming. The exhibition does not treat decay as a single ending. Instead, it reveals it as a quiet, inevitable and often invisible process until something can no longer be restored. Decay asks visitors to confront what disappears, what remains, and whether anything is ever truly lost.
