Dr. Ignacio Abraham-Gørvell, commonly known as Dr. Nacho, is a Swiss academic, psychology researcher, administrator and philanthropist serving as Chancellor of the University of Los Santos, San Andreas. He previously worked as a professor of psychology and served as Dean of Science before succeeding Arthur Scarpino as Chancellor.

Before becoming chancellor, Abraham-Gørvell worked as a professor of psychology and later served as Dean of Science at ULSA. His administration has overseen the expansion of the university’s academic, cultural and athletic facilities.
Early life
Abraham-Gørvell was born on October 21, 1970, in San Nazzaro, Ticino, Switzerland, to a Swiss father and Norwegian mother.
He was raised in the multilingual canton of Ticino, where his exposure to several languages and cultures contributed to an international outlook that later influenced his academic career.
Education
Abraham-Gørvell completed the International Baccalaureate programme at Le Régent International School.
He later attended the University of Basel, where he received a bachelor’s degree in psychology. After completing his undergraduate studies, he moved to San Fierro and earned a master’s degree in adolescent psychology from the University of San Andreas, San Fierro.
He subsequently returned to Europe and completed a doctorate in clinical psychology at Universidad Europea.
Wrestling career
During his time at the University of Basel, Abraham-Gørvell briefly competed on the European professional wrestling circuit.
He performed as a submission specialist, with his wrestling style focused primarily on technical holds and submission-based offence. He later left professional wrestling to pursue a full-time academic career.
Academic career
Abraham-Gørvell began his academic career as an associate professor of psychology at the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano. He remained at the university for five years before accepting a position at the University of Los Santos, San Andreas.
At ULSA, he worked as an associate professor of psychology and introduced a simulated hospital programme intended to provide students with practical experience in a controlled clinical environment.
He later received tenure and was appointed Dean of Science.
Chancellor of ULSA
Abraham-Gørvell succeeded Arthur Scarpino as Chancellor of the University of Los Santos, San Andreas.
He was appointed directly from his position as Dean of Science and had not previously held a non-academic administrative office within the university.
Under his leadership, ULSA opened a new medical school and a theatre equipped to host opera and other large-scale performances. His administration also oversaw renovations to the university’s athletic facilities and the establishment of a merchandise store supporting both the athletics programme and the wider university.
The historic Donovan building also entered renovation during his tenure.
University administration
Student admissions increased following Abraham-Gørvell’s appointment, while the university continued to report relatively low withdrawal rates.
Faculty turnover also remained comparatively stable during his administration. His leadership has placed particular emphasis on expanding academic facilities and strengthening the university’s medical and scientific programmes.
