Insider News Network, commonly abbreviated as INN, is a news organisation based in Los Santos. Founded in 2023 as the Los Santos Insider, the outlet is primarily known for its investigative reporting on corruption, organised crime, and public affairs.
The organisation initially operated as a media group before restructuring as a news network in 2025. INN also produces breaking news, local reporting, photography, and other coverage based on public interest and staff availability.
History
Insider News Network was founded in 2023 by journalists Scarlett Remington and Gabriel Stone under the name Los Santos Insider, commonly shortened to LSI.
The publication began as an independent project operated from the founders’ private residences. Its first official office was located in the RED complex, where Remington and Stone began developing the outlet’s editorial identity through regular reporting.
As its audience and staff grew, Los Santos Insider outgrew the RED complex and relocated to a larger headquarters in Morningwood. The organisation continued to expand its reporting operations and became increasingly recognised within the Los Santos media industry.
Following the death of Remington, Stone and journalist Holly Miller assumed responsibility for the publication’s leadership. They were later joined by Hank Miller, with the three overseeing the continued development of the organisation.
In 2025, the company transitioned from a media group into a wider news network and adopted the name Insider News Network. The names Los Santos Insider and LSI remained in informal use due to their recognition among the outlet’s existing audience.
Leadership changes
Hank Miller later stepped down from his position as Senior Editor-at-Large to pursue a different professional direction.
Following his departure, Holly Miller became the sole leader of Insider News Network, serving as its owner and publisher. Under her leadership, the organisation continued to expand its operations and moved into the former Weazel News Plaza in downtown Little Seoul.
Editorial coverage
Insider News Network is primarily associated with investigative journalism. Many of its reports focus on allegations of corruption, organised crime, legal disputes, and matters involving public institutions.
The organisation also covers breaking news, community affairs, business, culture, and other local subjects. The amount and type of coverage produced depend on public demand and the availability of its reporting team.
INN states that its editorial approach is based on factual reporting, credible sources, and providing readers with access to information concerning their local community.
Stringer operations
INN operates a modernised stringer division responsible for responding to developing incidents throughout Los Santos and the surrounding county.
Its field reporters use a fleet of dedicated stringer vehicles equipped with police scanners, cameras, and other reporting technology. The division allows the network to collect photographs, video footage, and information from breaking events as they occur.
Workplace culture
Insider News Network describes its workplace as relaxed and team-focused. The organisation states that it prioritises personality, professionalism, and cooperation rather than imposing strict reporting quotas on its employees.
Its internal culture has been described as following a family-oriented approach established by its founders and maintained by later leadership.
